Academy Associate · Trainee Recruitment Consultant

The role

EQ Academy is the group's answer to the broken graduate scheme. We hire ambitious 18 to 21 year olds who want a real career in business, technology and recruitment, and put them through six intensive months alongside founders and senior consultants. You earn while you learn, work on live desks from week one, and graduate as a Consultant across one of the group's brands, LAUNCH, Scale Health, Take a Seat, Take a Seat Tech, Sentio or GrowNeuro.

What you will do

• Complete the six month EQ Academy curriculum: smart tooling and automation, LinkedIn and personal brand, market intelligence, sales and BD, recruitment craft, CRM and technology.
• Run live projects from week one, supporting growing brands across the US and UK.
• Own daily activity targets: outreach, market mapping, candidate calls, client research.
• Sit inside a brand pod, coached by a Senior or Principal consultant and a group founder.
• Build a personal brand on LinkedIn under group guidance.
• Present monthly progress reviews to the founder team.

What we are looking for

• 18 to 21 years old, based in or willing to relocate to Manchester.
• Ambitious, curious, high energy. You want a career, not a job.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working in-office five days a week during the programme.
• No degree required. No previous recruitment experience required.

Nice to have

• Side-hustle, sports, or student leadership experience.
• Interest in AI, technology, healthcare or high-growth categories.
