Chief of Staff

The role

The Chief of Staff runs the operating system of EQ Group. You are the connective tissue between the founder, brand leads, new-investment work, and group operations. You will own the weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence, prepare board-grade material, and turn strategic intent into shipped work across every brand in the house.

What you will do

• Own the group operating cadence: weekly leadership, monthly business review, quarterly planning, annual off-sites.
• Prepare board-grade decks, memos and dashboards for the founder and brand leads.
• Drive execution on cross-brand initiatives, new market entry, systems rollouts, brand launches, M&A integration.
• Sit inside the new investments pipeline: due diligence support, deal memos, onboarding of acquired teams.
• Represent the founder in internal and external meetings when required; manage inbound partnership flow.
• Build and maintain the group's single source of truth: KPI dashboards, org design, hiring plan, roadmap.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, strategy, banking, consulting, or founder-adjacent operating role.
• Track record of shipping operational programmes end-to-end inside a fast-moving business.
• Board-grade written communication. You draft in the founder's voice.
• Comfortable holding leaders accountable without holding a P&L.
• Financial and commercial literacy: you can read a P&L, model a deal, and instrument a KPI tree.

Nice to have

• Recruitment, executive search, professional services, or portfolio-holding-company background.
• Experience inside a multi-brand or M&A-led operating group.
• Prior founder or general management experience.
