Part of Recruitment investment jobs at EQ Group.

    The role

You will lead the group's investment activity, new brand acquisitions, founder buy-ins, and majority stakes in recruitment operators building in healthcare, HealthTech, and adjacent categories. You will build the pipeline, run diligence, structure deals, and lead post-close integration alongside the founder.

    What you will do

    • Build and manage a proprietary pipeline of recruitment operators across the US and UK.
    • Lead diligence: commercial, financial, legal, and cultural.
    • Structure deals: equity, earn-outs, buy-ins, and roll-up structures.
    • Own the investment memo and present to the founder and the group board.
    • Lead the first 100 days post-close: integration, systems, brand alignment.
    • Build long-term relationships across the recruitment founder community.

    What we are looking for

    • 7+ years in private equity, M&A, corporate development, or search fund investing.
    • Track record of closing and integrating lower-mid-market services deals.
    • Strong financial modelling and deal structuring skills.
    • Founder-first temperament. You know how to earn trust with operators.

    Nice to have

    • Direct experience investing in staffing, recruitment, or professional services.
    • Healthcare or HealthTech sector knowledge.
    • Prior operating experience in a portfolio company.

    What you get

    • Carry and deal participation from day one.
    • Full ownership of the group investment thesis.
    • A seat at the group leadership table.
